Virtual culture is the culture that has emerged, or is emerging, from the use of computer networks forcommunication , networks and business It is also the study of various social phenomena associated with the Internet and other new forms of network communication, such as online communities, online multi-player gaming and text messaging. In virtual culture society the physical environment is no longer a dominant factor in people's livelihoods and turn away from the concrete and tangible to the abstract and intangible thus emphasis is now placed on the power of information. (Burnett, Gary Apr, 2004).
Schlemmer (2014) argues that the virtual culture is the type of culture that creates a networked society by giving room for flows of information, and a temporal time becomes essential bases for new culture, the majority of these cultures at present are text-based.Through the medium of virtuality, we are creating virtual cultures.
Therefore, virtual culture is a baseline of what we live in today since information is now at our fingertips at lightning fast speeds. With Internet Protocol (IP) address, anyone can view your location at any time. The effects of all of this are what people or society refers to as virtual culture.
