Framing
funding of developed
nations refers to the formulation of plans with important details aiming at
providing financial resources to developing countries(peripherals) so as to
make some of the failed projects to
become possible(Weismann, 2000). This means that developed nations provide
financial resources to the developing nations such as Tanzania, Congo, Sudan,
Burundi and many others whose economy depend on foreign aids and grants.
There are various forms of funding
which are including; Government
Grants; Government
could allocate funds itself or through government agencies to projects that
benefits the public through selection process to students or researchers and even organizations. And another one is raised from
investors; to raise capital, you
require them from investors who are interested in the investments. You have to present those investors with high-return
projects. By displaying high-level potentials of the projects, investors would
be more attracted to put their money into those projects (Steul (2006).
According to Boton,
1992 International Public Relations
is the planned and organized efforts of an organization or government to
establish symmetric beneficial relationship with the public’s of other nations.
Symmetric benefit means that the advantage or profit that obtained with company
or government as well as the public. When practicing Public Relations
internationally the practitioner has to understand or know where he or she is
going and there are some things that he or she should know which includes
regulation of a particular place, culture, political affairs so as to coup with
the particular environment.
It is not necessary for
the practice of international Public Relations to be recognized by this name.
It might be other names but remains with the same practice, most of the states refer
International Public Relations practice as to International Relations or
Foreign Affairs.
The
issue of framing funding in the developing countries can be discussed through
some of the programs and some of these framing funding programs are as follows;
Ebola eradication in West Africa and small pox eradication in 1950’s by the
World Health Organization (WHO), Structural Adjustment Program (SAP), Kyoto
protocol, Millennium Development Goals (MDG), World Bank (WB) and many others.
These programs have not
only based or focused on financial resources but also have based on social
affairs For example; the program of World Health Organization (WHO) it is not
only based on financial matters but health affairs. This means that the funding
are not only focusing on financial matters but also social and it may also
focus on economic but these funding by the developed countries they focus on
the place where it is of their interest. For example; in Tanzania the presence
of gas in Mtwara have attracted developed nations to invest and provide funding
so as to win their interest that they desire.
Framing funding of
developed nations toward International Public Relations practice can be
discussed by looking various aspects. ( According to Dutta, 2006) the issue of

Public Relations can be discussed by involving;
a. Culture
